Privacy Policy

Colurvist ("we", "us", or "our") provides browser-based tools for color grading, lighting, skin-tone correction, audio matching, and export. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and how. By using Colurvist you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Process

Media you upload (video frames, images, audio). Almost all processing happens locally in your browser and your media is not uploaded to our servers.
Reference images for "Look Match" AI. When you use the AI Look Match feature, the reference image you provide is sent to our processing service and on to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a color-grade analysis. It is not stored long-term by us.
Preferences such as your chosen interface language, stored locally on your device (see our Cookie Policy).
Contact information you choose to send us, e.g. when you email us.
Anonymous usage counts from the video editor: how many times each tool is opened, how many exports and imports there are, and how far an edit gets — added to daily totals. They carry no account, name, address, file or media, and cannot be tied to you. They are not sent when your browser asks sites not to track (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control), and you can switch them off in the editor under Preferences → Help.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and operate the tools you request.
To generate AI color analyses when you use Look Match.
To remember your preferences between visits.
To see which parts of the editor are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve them.
To respond to your enquiries.

3. Third-Party Services

The AI Look Match feature transmits your reference image to Anthropic, PBC for analysis, subject to Anthropic's own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Data Retention

Media processed in your browser is discarded when you close or reload the page. Locally stored preferences remain until you clear your browser storage.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at uscolurvist@gmail.com.

6. Children

Colurvist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
